Raise a Concern – Grievance Form

Anyone affected by Signature Agri Investments, the ReCa Fund, its farms or its Technical Assistance Facility can use this form to tell us about a problem. You do not have to give your name. You can also tell us by phone, in person or through someone you trust – see "How to send this form" below.

Free and confidential

Your identity is shared only with the people who need it to resolve the case, and only with your consent.


We reply

We acknowledge every concern within 5 business days and aim to propose a response within 30 days.


No retaliation

Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern, or helps someone to, is forbidden and treated as a serious matter.

Who receives your concern: Hannah Young (Head of ESG & Impact) and Duncan Vink (Joint Managing Director), Signature Agri Investments B.V. If your concern is about one of them, send it only to the other (see question 13).


Sexual harassment, abuse or violence: you can ask to be contacted by a woman. Only Hannah Young (or a trained woman she appoints) will handle your report. Nothing will be shared and no action taken without your agreement, unless someone's life is in danger or the law requires it. We will never use mediation with the person you are reporting. We can help you reach medical, legal and counselling support. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

How to send this form

Note: your e-mail address will be visible to us. To stay fully anonymous, send it by post or through someone you trust.

In person or through someone else: give it to any Signature or TA Facility staff member visiting a farm, or ask a trusted representative, NGO or community leader to send it for you with your consent. Each farm also has its own grievance officer and suggestion box.

Using this process does not stop you from going to the courts, labour or environmental authorities, or the complaint mechanisms of the Fund's development finance investors. This mechanism follows the ReCa ESMS Grievance Mechanism (Section 6.1) and IFC Performance Standard 1.
